Our Work in these Emmy-Nominated Productions (2024)

After a long-awaited end to the Hollywood-related strikes and many delays, the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards finally took place in Los Angeles this month! This event honors excellence in outstanding television and recognizes experts in the field. On Air Design could not be more honored to be a part of several nominated productions.

1. Outstanding Comedy Series - Abbott Elementary

This satirical, mockumentary style follows a Philidelphia public school’s faculty as they navigate the ins and outs of students’ lives. On Air printed several wares to provide faux flooring surfaces seen throughout the series. From the shiny, wooden floor of the school’s basketball court to the tile of a bathroom, our capabilities accurately created the polished, but not too polished look of a school facility.

2. Outstanding Drama Series - Succession

Succession documents the Roy family, whose successful but aging patriarch must pass the baton off to one of his children (hence the title of the series). The latest season featured On Air Design’s faux marble capability, giving one of its residential sets a modern, upscale look to stay in line with the look of an affluent family’s lifestyle.

3. Outstanding Limited/Anthology Series - Daisy Jones and the Six

Recreating the ever-changing era of the 70s, On Air Design was tasked with providing this series with historically accurate wallcoverings for several sets. Production teams wanted to avoid the typical “flower power” look of this time and truly hone in on the retro patterns and hues popular during this era. Several of our retro, printed wallcoverings gave sets a dated but accurate feeling while leaning into popular yellow and brown tones.

4. Outstanding Limited/Anthology Series - Beef

Netflix’s recent miniseries Beef was praised for its binge-worthy qualities, keeping viewers hooked for all ten episodes. The production used many sets for filming, often depicting upscale places. On Air Design’s capabilities were seen throughout the series, from recreating the look of authentic artwork to wallcoverings in residential filming locations.
